Development Policy Strategies in Jambuk Village, Bongan District, Kutai Barat Regency, in Advance of Its Potential as a Buffer Area for Nusantara’s Capital

ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to analyze the development policy strategy of Jambuk Village  as a buffer zone for the Indonesian capital city. his study employs a qualitative descriptive methodology. Both primary and secondary sources provide the data. Direct primary data collection was done from key person. The study was carried out between February and May of 2025. Qualitative analysis was employed in data analysis. According to the study’s findings, the development policy strategy for Kampung Jambuk’s preparedness as a buffer zone for the Indonesian capital city is to enhance the village’s infrastructure, raise the standard of human resources by raising educational standards, and expand access to technology. The proposed recommendations are strengthening infrastructure, improving the quality of education, implementing technology, community participation, and multi stakeholder collaboration.  By consistently implementing these recommendations, it is hoped that Kampung Jambuk can develop into a sustainable area and provide tangible benefits to the community. Sustainable development will not only improve the community’s quality of life but will also create a conducive environment for economic growth. Therefore, it is crucial for all parties to commit to realizing this vision for a brighter future for Kampung Jambuk and its surroundings.
