ABSTRACT:- This study was conducted to examine technological revolution and unemployment in South-South Geo-Political Zone, Nigeria. The specific objective was to examine the effect of Fin-tech, AI, and IoTs on unemployment in South-South Geo-Political Zone, Nigeria. Survey research design was used for the study. The population of the study consisted of the 5 states in south-south geo-political Zone, Nigeria. Data were collected using CBN statistical Bulletin and analyzed using multiple regression analyses. Finding revealed that Fin-tech, and AI have significant effect on unemployment in south-south geo-Political Zone, Nigeria. Adjusted R2. 652, F-777.538, and Beta: .626, .124, and .177, Durbin Watson: 1.858 and P-value .000. It was concluded that Fin-tech and AI have significant effect on unemployment in south-south geo-political zone, Nigeria. Therefore, it was recommended that government should promote digital financial inclusion and empowerment for job creation. And they should harness the potential of FinTech to reduce unemployment by enhancing financial inclusion, supporting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), and enabling entrepreneurship in the South-South region of Nigeria.
